Gallbladder Detox

The gallbladder has the important function of storing up the bile from the liver. It can also serve to help in digestion. In order to keep your gallbladder functioning well, you have to keep it free of toxins. The toxins build up over the years as people eat high fat and oily foods. Eventually the toxins become gallstones, which are hardened balls of fat and oil that can get lodged in the gallbladder and thereby slowing down the movement of bile. To keep your gallbladder free and flowing, you must do a gallbladder detox or gallbladder detoxification.

A gallbladder detox is a home remedy that can be done at home whenever you want. The ingredients to pull off the gallbladder detox can be found at any supermarket. The remedy requires seven days to do. First you should go to the supermarket and buy a gallon of apple cider, Epsom salt, pure olive oil, and some lemons.

Now that you have picked up the ingredients, you can start the gallbladder detox process. For the first six days you have to drink the apple cider everyday. You should drink a cup a day. This is important since it helps to soften up the hard gallstones. On the sixth day at night before you head off to bed, mix one-third cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice with two-thirds cup of olive oil. This will be a very harsh mixture to drink, but hold you nose and down the whole thing in one gulp if you can. Don’t even think about it. Then go to bed and lie on your right side.

Next day, mix the Epsom salt with hot water and drink it. This will help your body get rid of the waste because it is a laxative. You will notice in your stool the greenish brownish balls which are the gallstones.

It might be in your best interest to do the gallbladder detox every once awhile to keep your body toxin free. In the beginning you can do more gallbladder detox and then later on you can do less.
